In the heart of the vineyards of Château Boyd-Cantenac, on the noble terroir of Margaux, proudly stands a stone cross, emblem of the estate and guardian of the ancestral memory of these vines, who gave birth year after year to fabulous vintages. In 1754, the Boyd family left their Irish homeland to settle in Cantenac. Château Boyd-Cantenac was born. It’s only by 1932 that the Guillemet family, which still owns today, acquired the vineyard.

Tasting Notes
Shades of blueberries, black currants and raspberries, surrounded by hints of camphor, violet, cloves, nutmeg, undergrowth and hibiscus. Smoky hints of a cigar box, Christmas pastries, tobacco and black pepper are intertwined with thin, silky tannins. A beautiful, smooth finish is condensed to the finish and acquires a slight astringency.
