Bold and succulent. Ripe, black-fruit aromas with a swathe of spicy-oak and earthy nuances, too. There’s a wealth of plush, brambly, dark-plum and berry flavors in a web of fresh, bright tannins.

Goes with all types of classic meat dishes, veal, pork, beef, lamb, duck, game, roast chicken, roasted, braised, stewed dishes, sausage, barbecue and cassoulet. Chateau Saint Cosme is also good with Asian dishes, hearty fish courses like tuna, mushrooms, cheese, pasta, eggplant and tomatoes.
