The vineyard of Château de Rouanne is a unique one-block monopole, planted entirely with 50+ year old vines, which are a selection massale of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. The ancient terroir is comprised of limestone and sandy marl soils dating back to the Pliocene epoch.
IGP Mediterranee ‘Comte de Grignan’, France
Wild raspberries and sun-kissed garrigue perfume this fruity but brisk, zero-dosage sparkling rosé. A Mourvèdre-dominant blend with Cinsault, Syrah, Marselan and Grenache, it has pristine red-berry and sour-cherry flavors that are lifted by a firm, flinty spine and racy acidity. Creamy but finely textured in mousse, it should drink at peak now through 2026.
Ideal aperitif and can be served with hors d’oeuvres, oysters, or a variety of charcuterie and light salads.
