Las Quintas is produced from the very oldest vines in the estate dating from the pre-phylloxera period on the northern side of the Jamuz River Valley. The soil is very poor and mainly sandy. The grapes are exposed to the winds off Mount Teleno and extensive sunlight, making them very fruity with light tannins.
